WHAT IS A PARENTING PLAN?

A Parenting Plan is a Blueprint, a Document that leads the way to decision-making and helps to remind the two of you of the choices that you made at the end of your relationship and at the beginning of your Co-Parenting relationship.

There are some legal decisions that need to be made through the Parenting Plan, such as the parenting time schedule, holiday schedule, and what to do if one of you moves out of town. Also, you will be agreeing to the manner in which you will be making decisions about vacations, phone time, the way in which you communicate with one another and the children.

If there are never any problems and you always get along well even when a third party enters the picture, then a Parenting Plan is literally a blueprint from which to refer to prior decisions. If you are like anyone else who ends a relationship, you may want to designate a Neutral to help you with making such decisions in a smooth, respectful and non-court manner. In your Parenting Plan you will want to designate a Neutral Professional who can help you with those things in case there is a dispute. A Parenting Plan is a blueprint of Gold.
